The only advertisement platform for Twitter I could find in a brief search was Magpie – I can’t believe that after all that publicity Twitter got in the US presidential campaign that noone else is capitalizing on it.
just started to use bit.ly, an URL shortener enabling statistic information about referrers, clicks, etc. They have a great Firefox Beta Plugin (which i recommend over the currently realeased 1.0 version when you are using wordpress), but also a neat javascript in-browser popup. When I tweeted a bit.ly link to one of my (very rare) ebay auctions, I got about 10 clicks from it, more than I would’ve actually thought with only about 40 followers, most of them pretty busy people far beyond my reach.
So I figured there most be some sort of advertisement platforms for twitter that connect advertisers with twitterers, where twitterers allow for pre-approved marketing and advertisement messages within their twitter streams. But the only company that I could find was Magpie.
Is there anyone out there who knows about other marketing-related platforms for Twitter?

The example of social interactions within Twitter reveals that the driver its usage and exploding growth is a sparse and hidden network of connections underlying the “declared” set of friends and followers.
Some paradox findings on one-trick ponies and one-hit wonders explained at the example of user-generated content at YouTube – A study by HP Laboratories.
Rich Internet (micro) TV portals with increasing interactivity are emerging. They include social as well as media immersion – more than just content, but a complete platform. The question is what telecoms can offer as a platform provider.
